【綜合報導】美國田納西州一名員警傑克森(Andy Jackson)在6月29日對一隻火雞鳴槍示警，但現在傑克森反而被認定使用槍隻程序出錯，遭到調查。

傑克森表示，當天早上他發現有一隻火雞就在警車的擋風玻璃前便便，他表示當時用盡許多方法，就是無法趕火雞走，所以最後他只好鳴槍示警，用聲音嚇跑火雞，不過此舉引來上級關切，並指傑克森用槍不當。

傑克森為自己辯駁指出，當時他對空鳴槍的地方，是一處只有樹木和湖泊的空曠處，不會對其他人造成威脅。目前這隻被鳴槍的火雞已經不知去向，但傑克森已經遭到警方調查。
