MERCEDES-GP非執行董事Niki Lauda宣佈，保證Lewis Hamilton將繼續留在MERCEDES-GP。從去年底到上週巴林站，本賽季合約就到期的Lewis Hamilton和MERCEDES-GP就陷入了漫長的新合約談判，協議的達成一再推遲，伴隨的是各種流言的甚囂塵上。
