美政府關門在即　簽證服務不受影響

【綜合報導】美國共和黨把持的聯邦眾議院執意要將擱置「歐記健保」的條款納入今起生效的政府預算案，但總統歐巴馬（Barack Obama）已表態「不會付贖金」，共和黨版法案將過不了民主黨主導的聯邦參議院。眼看台灣時間今午12時起，美國政府運作就要停擺。不過美國國務院表示，美政府若局部停擺，仍會繼續在各國的簽證核發業務。
 
美國國務院發言人柏莎琪（Jen Psaki）表示，旗下領事事務局（Bureau of Consular Affairs）的國內外活動將繼續提供，會繼續簽證核發以及護照業務。她表示，國務院運作短期內不會有太大的影響，多數員工也不會被迫放無薪假。國務卿凱瑞（John Kerry）本週稍後出訪東京與印尼的行程，仍會依計劃進行。
