指標期油盤中於六年來首度跌破每桶44美元價位後小幅上揚。

分析師表示，由於油市正處於「正價差」，投資人有很強的誘因儲油，因而增加美國的庫存。

3月期油上漲8美分，收在44.53美元，漲幅0.2%。布蘭特原油上漲66美元，收在49.13美元，漲幅1.4%。盤中油價一度跌破每桶44美元，為六年新低。

美國公佈上週原油產量920萬桶，為28年新高，顯示庫存累積將持續，而未來幾個油價會繼續下跌。Commerzbank的分析師認為，油市目前唯一的希望，就是週三的庫存報告顯示，汽油與蒸餾油庫存大幅減少，而需求則是強勁上揚。但是，這仍不足以證明原油價格會繼續上漲。

全球供給過剩，需求又疲弱，導致美國原油庫存增加。油價自去年夏季以來重挫60%，已對產油業者造成重大傷害，許多企業已宣佈將刪減支出和裁員。油價下跌令分析師預估業界獲利大減。

2月期熱燃油下滑1.34美分，收在1.6184美元，跌幅0.8%。2月汽油上漲0.87美分，收在1.3537美元，漲幅0.7%。3月天然氣下跌12.3美分，收2.719元，跌幅4.3%。
