黃金於 Q2 跌幅超過 23%，為 1970 年代中期以來最糟糕表現。聯準會的收水疑慮，讓美債殖利率與美元扶搖直上，使黃金吸引力不再。

8 月黃金週五抹去早盤低到 1200 美元之下的頹勢，上揚 12.10 美元或 1% 至每盎司 1223.70 美元。

分析師指出，在過去幾個月讓黃金上揚的傳統動能，皆數反轉。歐元區的憂慮漸消，美國通膨的疑慮也不顯著，再加上整體金屬最近的頹勢，以及美元的強勢，造就了黃金現在的局面。

分析師認為，黃金短期內或許有跌深反彈的可能，但必須非常小心，還是先等築底再說。

9 月白銀上揚 92 美分收每盎司 19.47 美元，本季滑落近 32%。

10 月白金上揚 10.80 美元至每盎司 1339.90 美元。9 月鈀金上揚 10 美元至每盎司 660.70 美元。
