自強號故障 影響5600人

〔自由時報記者黃立翔、林欣漢／綜合報導〕台鐵編號一二一車次、七堵開往高雄的自強號，昨上午十點卅二分因電氣系統異常，導致煞車系統故障，卡在七堵到百福站之間，車上八十四人動彈不得；台鐵另派區間車接駁車上旅客到汐止，另搭列車南下，也在彰化站增開一列推拉式自強號接運乘客。

這起事故總計影響廿二列次共五千六百人，其中五百人延誤超過四十五分，可全額退票。故障的自強號列車則拖回七堵檢修。

台鐵官員指出，這班車次是一九九六年購入的韓製列車，車齡已十八年，車輛老舊、電子控制系統較不穩定，已多次因天氣過熱，導致煞車系統自動卡住鐵軌。台鐵表示已爭取預算，明年起陸續更新電子控制系統，降低故障率。
