遊騎兵隊2局上就有攻勢，Jeff Baker敲出2分砲帶領條子軍團取得2:0領先。
次局Adrian Beltre更補上一發陽春紅不讓，總計他單場4打數3安打。
紅襪隊3局下先靠Dustin Pedroia打出2分打點二壘安打追分，7局下Mike Napoli奮力跑壘避免被雙殺，紅襪追平成3:3。
