雖然貴為「籃球之神」，又是夏洛特黃蜂（原山貓）大老闆，Michael Jordan也是有貼近員工的時候。

Jordan於9日買下一個整版的《夏洛特觀察者報》廣告，就是為了感謝黃蜂中鋒「Big Al」Al Jefferson今年球季的貢獻。

廣告內容稱讚Jefferson對於球隊的幫助，感謝他領軍闖進山貓隊史第2次季後賽，也恭喜他今年兩度獲得單月MVP。

Jefferson本季繳出21.8分、10.8籃板，是本季唯一一位單季「雙十」的東區球員，獲得今年3、4月MVP，最後也入選「年度第三隊」。
