柴聯式自強號　9月起實施差別票價

台鐵局為推動自強號差別票價，9月1日起，每逢週一至週四（國定假日除外），先在柴聯式自強號列車實施差別票價，旅客自8月18日0時起，可訂購乘車日為9月1日（含）以後每週一至週四（國定假日除外）的柴聯式自強號列車車票，各票種包括團體票、單程票、去回票、法定優待票等，均依自強號票價97折計算。
 
台鐵局表示，同樣是自強號，因為柴聯式自強號列車是屬於20年或30年前的舊款列車，行駛速度比新列車稍慢，不少乘客常常想選新列車搭乘，因此基於新舊列車的差別，實施柴聯式自強號實施差別票價，但提醒乘客，上述優惠僅限於乘車前購票有效，補票均依自強號全額票價計算。（許麗珍／台北報導）
