前微軟執行長（CEO）Steve Ballmer日前以20億美元天價標下洛杉磯快艇，一度傳出他打算「遷都」西雅圖，不過31日他親自否認。

「這支球隊會留在洛杉磯，留在加州，這是無庸置疑的。」Ballmer說。

該傳聞並非「空穴來風」，Ballmer去年與基金經理人Chris Hansen差點買下沙加緬度國王，當時的投資計畫正是因其餘球團老闆投票否決他們遷至西雅圖的提案而告吹。

Ballmer透露，球隊依然會沿用先前的訓練館，如果前老闆Donald Sterling的太座Shelly Sterling未來想回史戴波中心看球也相當歡迎。

不過這筆交易尚未完全成交，還得等聯盟審核通過，Ballmer才能正式加入NBA「大家庭」。
